The courthouse district is a lunchtime that flies by: a hearing that runs over, a file to reread, an hour's break melting into forty minutes. Asian Road has set up right behind it, at 9 rue Laurent Fauchier, in the old town of Aix.

We serve Southeast Asian street food with no fixed country — Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia. No booking, no endless menu: you walk in, you see the kitchen, you order at the counter, and it's already there.

What are the lunch hours?

12pm to 2pm, Tuesday to Sunday. In the evening, 7pm to 10:30pm Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Closed on Mondays.

Can I eat in, or is it takeaway only?

Both. The room has a few seats, but most boxes leave as takeaway — to the office, the law firm or a bench in town.

Is there a meat-free option?

Yes: the Veggie'Yummy flavour, made with tofu, and the veggie nems from the Crispy Road.
