The woks are already hot, the bases already prepared. We assemble it in front of you: this is street cooking, not table service. Six or seven seats for those who want to sit down — the rest leaves in a box, under the arm.

Asian Road claims no single country: it borrows from five South-East Asian cuisines what each does best, and serves it in three minutes.
Freshness. Mint, coriander and lemongrass thrown in at the last second: that's where our raw herbs on a scorching dish come from, and that way of serving fast and hot, standing, at the kerb.
Brings: the fresh herbs · the spring roll
Salted caramel. That cuisine isn't afraid to brown sugar with fish sauce and pepper: it's the guiding line of our Caram'Chicky, sweet on one side, salty on the other, never in between.

Sticky rice, eaten with your fingers. It's what we serve for dessert, in the Golden Sticky Rice: steamed, naturally coloured with the season, with sweet coconut milk or grated coconut as you prefer.

Fire. Rice fried in the wok, tossed hard over the flame, with egg and fried onions on top: our Garden Fried Rice comes straight from that school, the night carts that cook in three minutes.
